In consideration for being invited to attend and participate in Kerrville Christian Homeschoolers (“KCH”) activities as a Guest of an KCH member, we (I), being 21 years of age or older, do four ourselves and on behalf of our (my) child(ren) who are participating, hereby release, forever discharge and agree to hold harmless KCH and its affiliates and members and those responsible for the facilities used by KCH and its affiliates, members, directors, teachers, employees, volunteers, and agents thereof from any and all liability, claims, or demands for personal injury, sickness, or death, as well as property damage and expenses of any nature whatsoever which may be incurred by the undersigned and/or the child(ren) participating in the above described classes and activities. 

Furthermore, we (I) and on behalf of our (my) child(ren), hereby assume all risk of personal injury, sickness, death, damage, and expense as a result of participation in recreation, volunteer and/or work activities involved therein.

The undersigned further hereby agrees to hold harmless and indemnify said classes and church, its members, directors, teachers, employees, and agents for any liability sustained by said classes and church as the result of negligent, willful, or intentional acts of said parent, guardian, and/or participant, including expenses incurred attendant thereto.

Special Notes: This release is primarily for permission to take pictures for our yearbook which will be available to members of KCH to purchase each year, which may capture you and/or your child participating amongst our members.

Our social media accounts are focused to promote our teachers and classes and are mostly used as informational outlets geared towards parents. Included in this focus is our desire to share pictures of special events like field trips or community outreaches which may include you and/or your child. Our social media accounts are private and followers are all vetted prior to approval. 

At times, while KCH is hosting or attending public events, there may be local news media outlets attending who are usually efficient in getting verbal approval to take pictures of you and/or your children. KCH has no jurisdiction or control over those news media outlet’s uses, we just want our members and guests aware of the possibility of their presence at events.

I hereby grant permission to Kerrville Christian Homeschoolers, and its representatives, contractors, employees, and volunteers acting on behalf of KCH, to take and/or use, copyright, publish, edit crop, or treat images or likenesses of me and my child(ren), including photographs, videos or otherwise, for any lawful use on the KCH website, social media pages, blogs, or in other official KCH printed or electronic publication. I understand that should photographs of videos of me and/or my child(ren) be used in KCH-owned or operated websites or webpages, they may be available to download. I agree to waive any rights of compensation or ownership thereto. KCH reserves the right to use photographs and videos without notice.
